Overview: First-come, first-serve funding available for ONLY the following: water saving toilets, rain barrels, water harvest tanks, Johnson-Su bioreactor composting kits, hoop houses, limited number of native plants.

Once you complete the application, call the VSWCD office at 505-864-8914. We need to schedule an appointment to meet with you and discuss your application. If you have a prepared plan with another agency, please bring that along for your appointment.
On February 22nd 2016, The Valencia Soil and Water Conservation District (VSWCD) approved implementation of a financial assistance program for preservation of soil and water, and the natural landscapes that protect and enhance the quality and resilience of these critical resources. This program has been established to promote conservation practices which can be used across different landscapes including rural, urban, wildland urban interface (WUI), rangeland, and agricultural lands within the Middle Rio Grande Valley floodplain, uplands, and mesas.
